Description |
Predominately cherry. Built as partner's desk, accessible from two sides. The rectangular top is composed of two hinged lids, fastened in to a center board. The center board is held to the base at either end by two square-cut nails. The hinged lids lock on either side. Table top with case of drawers at one side, with end panel. Case contains two drawers - two pull out from one side, two from the other. A tab is dove-tailed into each long rail, probably for sewing accessories to be attached. Fancy leg turnings. Case corners chamfered. A double bulb-shaped footrest connects two stretchers. |
