Description |
Maple and hickory, shellac finish. Rocking chair with ladle arms. Evidence of earlier red and the yellow paint. Maple posts and slats with hickory rungs, and walnut arm Old woolen tapes fo blue and red are not orignial to the seat. Four slat rocker, left finial is broken. Stubby, inverted bowling pin finials. Rockers are inserted through bottom posts. Scribe marks on back and front posts where slats and stretchers are joined. |
