Six people on (what appears to be) road to Shaker Landing. On left with large view camera is (most likely) Montgomery (Monty) Rochester, next with beard is Montgomery Rochester, Sr. The woman in bonnet and white apron is probably a Shaker. Next is a world's person (perhaps Mary Rochester). Seated, in profile, is Francis Pennebaker. An unidentified Shaker is standing behind Pennebaker. Stamped on lower right corner of front mat are initials "J.L.S." Information about location is on present jacket. |
