Description |
Three women posed on steps of Centre Family Dwelling; another woman in shadows at the door. Women are in turn-of-the-century dress; two in light garments, one in a dark dress with light collar and cuffs. She is sitting on top step with her are in Sister Susan's lap. Susan is seated, Mary Settles standing behind her. Sisters are dressed in white. Sister Susan has a white scarf (or bertha) and apron, and a dark neckerchief. Screen doors on Centre Family. Front of photo, in margins: "Oct. 17, 1915 / Sisters -- Susan Johnston / 92 yrs & Mary Settles / 84 yrs." On back of photo: "This was taken Sunday Oct - 1[obscured] / Miss Louise (or Laurie?) B.
